We sit on the west side of 12600 South, close to Redwood Road and a few minutes from both Bangerter Highway and Mountain View Corridor. That puts most of the southwest valley within a short drive. Classes run six days a week for ages three and up.

Why Gracie Barra Riverton
Black belt leadership
The school is led by Professor Seidler Rodrigo Ziser, a third degree Gracie Barra black belt. The curriculum he teaches is the same one used in more than 1,300 Gracie Barra schools worldwide.
Certified instructors
Every instructor holds Gracie Barra ICP certification and current first aid and emergency response training. They come from a range of belt levels, and all of them teach the same curriculum.
Six days a week
Classes run morning and evening. If you are driving in after work or fitting training around school pickup, there is more than one time that fits.
Clean and respectful
Mats are cleaned between sessions and the room runs on the Gracie Barra code of conduct. New students are shown how things work on day one, not left to figure it out.

What Gracie Barra Riverton is like inside
If you are driving in from another city, it helps to know what you are driving to.
We are in Suites 1 and 2 at 2936 W 12600 S, with parking right in front of the door. Nobody circles the block here looking for a space.
Inside, it is one training room. Kids, teens, adults and the women's program all run on the same mats, which is why a family can train on the same evening instead of making the drive twice.
First time here, come about ten minutes early. Someone from the team will meet you at the front, walk you through how a class runs, and lend you a uniform. Shoes come off at the edge of the mat, and that is close to everything you need to know before you start.

Where do I park?
There is free parking in front of the school, in the shared lot at 2936 W 12600 S. You do not need a permit and there is no meter.
I get off work at six. Can I still make a class?
Most adults driving in after work take an evening class. Traffic on 12600 South and on I-15 is heaviest between five and six thirty, so give yourself a few extra minutes if you are coming from Sandy or Draper. Check the schedule for current class times.
My child is three. Is that old enough?
Yes, as long as they are potty trained. Children start at age three in our kids program, grouped by age first and then by size and skill level.
Can I try a class before joining?
Your first class is free and we lend you a full uniform, so there is nothing to buy beforehand. Book a time that works for you and come as you are.
