These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of gbriverton.com, the website operated for Gracie Barra Riverton ("we," "us," or "our"). They explain how to use our online information and inquiry features. They are not a substitute for a signed membership agreement, enrollment form, payment authorization, or any separate participation documents required by the academy.
01 About these terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website. Contacting the academy or visiting this site does not by itself enroll you as a member or create a paid service agreement.
Gracie Barra Riverton is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school located at 2936 W 12600 S, Ste 1 & 2, Riverton, UT 84065, USA. Our website helps visitors learn about our programs, schedules, instructors, membership options and class inquiries.
02 Using this website
This website is intended for prospective students, parents and guardians, current students, and others interested in the academy. You may browse its public pages for lawful, personal, informational purposes. You are responsible for providing accurate information when you submit a request or contact form, and for keeping any account credentials you create through third-party services confidential.
03 Information and availability
We aim to keep program descriptions, schedules, instructor information, prices, promotions and availability accurate, but these details may change. An online listing is informational and is not a guarantee that a particular class, instructor, time slot, price or promotion is available. Please confirm important details with the academy before relying on them or making a purchase.
The information on this site is general and does not constitute individual medical advice, a guarantee of training results, or a representation that any activity is risk-free.
04 Trial classes and inquiries
Requests for a free trial class, an instructor consultation or more information are subject to confirmation by our team. Submitting an inquiry or selecting a preferred class time does not guarantee a reservation. The academy may ask for additional enrollment, parental authorization or participation documents before someone trains. Visit our Free Trial Class or Contact page for the current inquiry options.
05 Memberships, purchases and payments
Memberships, private lessons, events and merchandise may be offered through the academy, through linked online booking or shopping services, or both. Applicable pricing, renewal terms, payment authorizations, taxes, refunds and other purchase conditions should be presented in the relevant enrollment agreement or at checkout, subject to applicable law.
Our Membership page currently describes month-to-month automatic renewals and a 30-day written cancellation notice. Before committing, please review the specific written agreement and billing disclosures provided for your purchase. In case of a discrepancy, the signed agreement and applicable legal protections govern the transaction rather than this general website overview.
Online payments and account management may be handled by a separate provider; please also review that provider's applicable terms.
06 Cancellation and membership freezing
Membership cancellation and freezing requests are handled according to the terms provided at enrollment and applicable law. Our site offers a Cancellation Request form and a Freezing Request form. Please keep a copy of your submission and confirm the effective date with the academy.
Nothing on this page is intended to waive a cancellation, refund, disclosure, or other consumer right provided by applicable law.
07 Training, health and safety
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a physical contact activity and, like other sports, can involve injury risks. Students and visitors must follow academy safety instructions, instructor directions and applicable participation rules. If you have questions about your ability to take part safely, consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating.
The academy may require specific enrollment and participation documents before training. These website Terms do not serve as a physical activity liability waiver or replace any separate informed-consent or participation agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
08 Parents, guardians and minors
Parents or legal guardians should make class requests, provide information and complete required documentation on behalf of minor children when appropriate. A child may participate in an academy activity only after any required parent or guardian permissions and enrollment steps have been completed. Our Privacy Policy explains our approach to information submitted through this website.
09 Third-party services
Some features, including class booking, forms, membership transactions, online payments and maps, may be supplied by independent services such as WellnessLiving or Google. Use of a third-party service is governed by that provider's applicable terms and privacy practices in addition to any agreement with the academy. We do not control third-party websites or their availability, content or security.
See WellnessLiving's Terms of Use where relevant.
10 Content, branding and intellectual property
Text, photography, graphics, logos, trademarks, page design and other website content are owned by their respective rights holders or used with permission. Access to the website does not grant permission to reproduce, resell, distribute or commercially exploit its content or brands without the appropriate rights holder's authorization, except as allowed by law.
11 Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website to submit false or unlawful information, impersonate others, interfere with site security or performance, attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems, introduce malicious code, or misuse contact forms or automated tools in a way that disrupts service. We may limit abusive access where lawful and appropriate.
12 Website disclaimers and limitations
The website and its informational content are provided on an "as available" basis. Although we work to maintain the site, we cannot promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from temporary site downtime or inaccurate general website information. This statement does not limit liability for misconduct, personal injury or other matters where applicable law prohibits such a limitation, and it does not replace any separate signed agreement governing classes or membership.
13 Privacy and personal information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information from website visitors and inquiries, including cookies, analytics, outside providers and privacy requests. Please review it before sharing personal information.
14 Updates and applicable law
We may revise these website Terms as features and practices change. Updated wording and its revision date will be posted at gbriverton.com/terms-of-service/. Changes do not retroactively alter rights under a separately signed agreement unless validly agreed and allowed by law.
These website Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable United States and Utah law. Nothing here removes rights that cannot be waived under law.
